The first step to getting Akimbo .357 in Call of Duty: Warzone is to unlock the Recon perk, and this is done by getting the pistol to level 34. This means that players will need to do quite a bit of grinding with Warzone’s .357 before they can get the Akimbo perk unlocked, and fans with limited playtime may want to plan to tackle this task during something like a double XP weekend.

Once a player has unlocked the Recon perk they are then ready to get Akimbo .357 in CoD: Warzone, and that is done by fulfilling one final requirement. Specifically, players must use the Recon perk and get three or more kills in five different matches with the .357, and the Akimbo perk will be unlocked as soon as that is done. Then all a fan must do is setup the .357 with the Akimbo perk and Snake Shot ammunition and call in the loadout during a Warzone match.

To note, the Akimbo perk is not exclusive to CoD: Warzone’s .357, and it can in fact be unlocked for all of the other pistols in the game. Of course, players that want to dual wield these other weapons will need to level them up and fulfill specific requirements, which are similar to the one detailed above for the .357, and fans will need to decide for themselves if these alternative pistols are worth the effort.

It bears repeating that Snake Shot ammunition was adjusted just last week, and thus this Akimbo .357 setup is not as strong as it once was in Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare. However, Warzone fans that are still in the market for a powerful dual wield pistol loadout should certainly consider giving this one a chance.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
