“After a year like 2020, I think we could all use some extra cheer,” said McDonald’s U.S. chief marketing officer, Morgan Flatley. “What better way to celebrate and get into the holiday spirit than with free McDonald’s menu favorites for everyone including Rudolph, the Abominable Snow Monster and, yes, even Scrooge.”

Customers will be able to claim the items free with a $1 minimum purchase. The items are limited to one per customer per day—though there is a special offer on Christmas Eve, so keep reading to find out what’s up for grabs.

To access the offers, head to the McDonald’s app from Monday and visit the deals section to add the promotional menu items to your order.

On December 14, claim a double cheeseburger in honor of the Griswold family from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. The next day, you can get a Big Mac, a favorite of the Abominable Snow Monster.

The Grinch’s item, an Egg McMuffin, will be free with a $1 purchase on December 16, while John McClane’s go-to order of a McDouble will be the promotional item on December 17. (McDonald’s has weighed in on the annual Die Hard debate, saying: “Yes, Die Hard is a holiday movie.”)

Enjoy an order of medium fries at McDonald’s on December 18 in honor of Rudolph, then claim Gizmo’s order of six McNuggets on December 19.

On December 20, McDonald’s customers will be able to claim a free order of Hotcakes—Buddy the Elf’s favorite. On December 21, they can get a free hot or iced coffee of any size, Scrooge’s go-to McDonald’s order.

A free McFlurry of any size is available in honor of Frosty the Snowman on December 22, and a free bakery item (apple fritter, cinnamon roll or blueberry muffin) on December 23, for Frank Costanza from Seinfeld.

Finally, on December 24, McDonald’s is giving away free chocolate cookies (a two-pack or three-pack) in honor of “a certain jolly someone’s most treasured treat.” As it’s Christmas Eve, the Santa Claus cookie deal can be claimed without a minimum purchase.
