Those who purchase Pokemon Scarlet and Violet early can get a free Mystery Gift: Special Pikachu. This Pikachu knows the move Fly. Normally, it can’t learn that move because it’s an Electric Pokemon. Its Tera Type is Flying so it also gets a fun and flashy “crown” of balloons when transformed, which is where it gets its nickname “Flying Pikachu.”

Purchase Pokemon Scarlet and Violet from any retailer. Both physical and digital copies qualify. Boot up the game and go to the main menu. Choose the “Mystery Gift” option. Select “Get via Internet. "
Your Special Pikachu download will commence. Make sure to activate this gift before before Tuesday, February 28, 2023. This is currently the only way you’ll be able to download Special Pikachu, unless you receive it in a trade from someone else in the future.
