Gamora Skin Release Date
For Fortnite players wondering when the Gamora skin will be available in-game, she can be purchased with V-Bucks in the item shop on Saturday, August 14th at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT. V-Bucks can be earned through completing certain challenges in-game, but the only way to get a lot of them instantly is by using real-world money. Marvel’s Star-Lord will also appear in the item shop on the same day, but this isn’t a new skin, as Star-Lord already came to Fortnite years ago. The Gamora bundle will include her Cloak Back Bling, Godslayer Pickaxe, and the Godslayer Glideboard.

How to Get Gamora Skin Early in Fortnite
However, for the skilled Fortnite players out there that are also big fans of Gamora, there is a way to get the skin early and for no charge at all. Epic Games is hosting a tournament called the Gamora Cup and will kick off on August 11. Participating players will be given a chance to earn the Gamora outfit and Cloak Back Bling if they perform well in the cup with a partner.
Players will have three hours to rack up as many points as they can in 10 Fortnite matches, and the best Duo teams in each region will be rewarded. If a player earns at least eight points, they’ll still be able to get the Daughter of Thanos Spray as a small prize for participating.

Before players participate in the Gamora Cup, they will need to make sure that they have 2FA enabled on their Epic Account, which is two-factor authentication.
