How to Get the Overwatch 2 Founder’s Pack
In order to qualify for the Overwatch 2 Founder’s Pack, players will need to have owned the original Overwatch prior to June 23, 2022, at 11 am PDT. Players who bought Overwatch after this deadline won’t be able to claim the Founder’s Pack for any reason.
For those players who do qualify, they can redeem the Founder’s Pack by logging into Overwatch sometime before December 5, 2022, at 12pm PDT. This can be done by launching the original Overwatch before the Overwatch 2 release date of October 4, or by launching Overwatch 2 after that date. Whichever method players use, they should automatically receive the Founder’s Pack, and be able to open it in-game for its many rewards.
What is in the Overwatch 2 Founder’s Pack
Players who open the Founder’s Pack will receive several rewards that they can take forward into Overwatch 2, including a unique Founder’s Icon to prove that they were an original Overwatch player. They will also receive the new Overwatch hero Kiriko, as well as a pair of epic skins:
General Doomfist - A new skin that reflects Doomfist’s time as a mercenary warlord, complete with hex-camo and a military cap Jester Sombra - A new skin that leans into Sombra’s trickster nature with a harlequin-inspired suit and a jester’s hat covered in bells
Finally, players who open the Overwatch 2 Founder’s Pack will receive a surprise gift that has yet to be announced. There’s a lot of speculation as to what this gift may be, with suggestions of a new legendary skin, a profile banner, a charm, or a free Premium Battle Pass.
Overwatch 2 launches in early access on October 4 for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
