Halo Infinite’s multiplayer contains many achievements for players to hunt down. Some of the achievements in Halo Infinite’s multiplayer are very difficult, only obtainable over the course of many games.

10 “Running Laps”

The “Running Laps” achievement will require players to capture the flag twice in a single game. This achievement may take a few tries. Capture the Flag matches in the quickplay playlist only consist of three captures to win, so this achievement requiring players to get two of those three can be difficult.

The easiest way to get this achievement is to focus on the match objective. It is easy to get carried away focusing on the number of kills, as many players do, but concentrating on the objective will massively increase the chances of obtaining this achievement.

9 “Straight To The Bank”

The “Straight To The Bank” achievement requires players to deposit five Power Seeds in a single game of Stockpile. Most Stockpile matches consist of three points to win, and each point is obtained by five Power Seeds being deposited, which means players must deposit one out of every three in a single game. This isn’t easy in Big Team Battle and may take players a few tries.

As with most objective-based achievements, the easiest way to unlock this is to focus solely on the match’s objective. On Big Team Battle, players will encounter many opponents and it is easy to get sidetracked with kills, but concentrating on the objective is essential to this achievement.

8 “A Fellow of Infinite Jest”

The achievement “A Fellow Of Infinite Jest” will require players to kill three opponents using the Oddball in a single match. Getting ahold of the Oddball can be difficult, let alone getting a kill (or three). Persistence is key with this achievement, and if players can’t get it on their first try, it will come eventually.

The best way to get this achievement is obviously to first get ahold of the Oddball. Once players have the Oddball, all attention will be on them so getting into a corner where enemies can be easily seen on the radar will allow players to get quick melee attacks in on their attackers. Players move slower when holding the Oddball and there isn’t much range to it, so getting into close-quarters is essential to this achievement.

7 “One Shot, Top Mid”

The “One Shot, Top Mid” achievement requires players to mark an enemy at “Top Mid” in a matchmade game. This can be completed on the map Aquarius in matchmaking, and the “Top Mid” section of the map is located in the middle of the staircases on the upper levels of the map.

The best way to get this achievement is to stake out the “Top Mid” area. Getting caught up in battle is easy, especially on maps with close-quarters combat, so stay near the target area to ensure the achievement is unlocked.

6 “Party Bus”

Players will unlock the “Party Bus” achievement by earning a “Mount Up” medal in a matchmade game. This medal can be obtained by getting a full party of allies into a Razorback vehicle. Players will need to first honk before anyone gets into the vehicle and then proceed to fill all seats with allies. Players will need to be the driver in order to get this achievement.

The most straightforward method to get this achievement is to get on a fireteam with friends. Being on mics makes this achievement much simpler to obtain. If players are attempting to get this achievement solo, the best way would be in Big Team Battle, as the sheer number of players will increase the likelihood of this happening naturally. Razorbacks also spawn far more frequently on Big Team Battle maps.

5 “Natural Formation Location Sensation”

To get the “Natural Formation Location Sensation” achievement, players will need to access a loot cave in a matchmade game. To do this, players must first deploy their AI at a terminal near the door to the cave. This will start a timer as the AI works to open the door. The closer the player is to the AI, the better it will work.

The loot caves in Halo Infinite’s multiplayer can be found on the Fragmentation map, which will be found while in the Big Team Battle playlist. To get this achievement, players should head straight to the loot cave, which is found on the far side of the map along the mountain wall. Going straight to the loot cave will increase the likelihood that enemies are not in the area which will give players enough time to open the door.

4 “New Kid On the Block”

The “New Kid On the Block” achievement will be obtained by getting a “Perfect” medal using the VK78 Commando weapon. Getting the “Perfect” medal can be a bit tedious, as players need to kill an opponent without missing any shots, as well as making only headshots once the opponent’s shields are down. This can take many tries and a good amount of skill to pull off.

The simplest method to complete this achievement is to load up a game with bots filling in for opponents. Using bots will mean that even players who are less accurate can usually outpace the enemies on the field.

3 “Watt Say You?”

Players can get the “Watt Say You?” achievement by getting a “Chain Reaction” medal with a Shock Rifle in a matchmade game. The “Chain Reaction” medal will be obtained by players getting a kill with damage done by a secondary shock that has chained onto an enemy. This can be done in a few ways:

Chaining a shot off of two enemies. Chaining a shot off of a vehicle onto an enemy. Chaining a shot off of a weapon onto an enemy.

This achievement can be very difficult, though possibly the easiest way is to play a game with bots. Throwing guns on the ground will lure the bots into an area and then shooting the weapons on the ground will cause the Shock Rifle to chain damage onto the enemy. If a kill is made with the resulting chain damage, players should get the achievement.

2 “Slaying With Style”

The “Slaying With Style” achievement will be obtained when players earn a Mythic medal in a matchmade game. The Mythic medals available in the game are listed below, but players that aren’t very familiar with Halo’s multiplayer mechanics may find this achievement very difficult.

The easiest way to get this achievement, regardless of which Mythic medal players are going for, is to play a game against bots. The skill level of the bots should be much lower than the player, making all of the Mythic medals easier to obtain.

Mythic Medals in Halo Infinite’s Multiplayer:

Overkill : Kill 4 enemies back-to-back Running Riot : Kill 15 enemies in a row without dying Remote Detonation : Kill an enemy by shooting a grenade Ninja : Get a kill by jumping over an enemy and back-smacking them Fastball : Kill an enemy by hitting them with a grenade (by the impact of the grenade, not its explosion) Perfection : With a game after getting 15 kills and no deaths Quigley : Kill 2 or more enemies with a single S7 Sniper bullet

1 “Peeker’s Advantage”

Getting the “Peeker’s Advantage” achievement will require players to get a “Back Smack” on an opponent that is zoomed in with a scoped weapon. While this isn’t the most difficult achievement to get based on skill level, the specificity of its requirements means that many players haven’t ever been in a situation where getting “Peeker’s Advantage” is possible.

The most painless way to get this achievement is to get an Active Camo upgrade and stake out areas that spawn S7 Snipers. This is most easily done on Big Team Battle maps, as Snipers and Active Camo are usually present, and the number of players increases the likelihood that an opponent will wander into the trap of picking up the weapon and zooming in. Players should stay ready to melee an opponent in the back should they grab the Sniper and try to aim with it.

Halo Infinite was released for the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X on December 8th, 2021.
