To cut to the chase, the Unkempt Harold in Borderlands 3 is dropped by Caber Dowd, a challenge enemy that was added as part of the Bounty of Blood. This foe is positioned relatively close to the Bloodsun Canyon - Presentation Room fast travel station, and the video below provides a visual reference for players that need it. To note, breaking through the cluster that blocks the door leading to Caber Dowd does require some progress through the new DLC, which means that fans may need to return to it at a later time.

Once a player has reached Caber Dowd all that is left is to repeatedly kill him until a desirable Unkempt Harold has been obtained. Indeed, this new Borderlands 3 Legendary weapon comes in all of the elemental damage types, and many fans will certainly have a very specific one that they are looking for. Fortunately, there is a spawn station located extremely close to Caber Dowd, which makes the farming process quite easy.
With respect to using the Unkempt Harold, it is best to try to maintain distance from an opponent when firing it. That is because the shots from this weapon split multiple times as they travel, ultimately turning into seven deadly projectiles. While this BL3 Legendary pistol is certainly not completely useless at close range, it becomes much more effective with some space.
As many fans will know, the Unkempt Harold was an extremely powerful weapon in Borderlands 2, and veterans of the franchise will likely be happy to see it return. It is true that this gun is not as strong as it was in the previous installment, but it it is certainly a top-tier weapon that players should definitely consider adding to their arsenals.
