The first step to unlocking the battle pass in Valorant is to purchase 1,000 Valorant Points at a cost of approximately $10 USD. This can be done by clicking the “V” near the top-right corner of the game’s interface, then selecting the desired amount of Valorant Points, and then following the onscreen prompts. When that is done, a player is ready to exchange those Points for Valorant’s battle pass, and indeed that is an easy thing to do.

Specifically, fans that want to buy the Valorant battle pass should click on the star icon near the top-left corner of the game’s interface. This will bring players into the battle pass, and to right of the reward tiers fans will find the option to buy the “Premium Upgrade” for 1,000 Valorant Points. All a player must do then is click on this upgrade option and select “Unlock” in order to access Valorant’s paid battle pass.

For those fans that are curious about the Valorant battle pass rewards for Episode 1, there are 12 gun skins and one knife skin to be unlocked across the pass’s 50 tiers. Additionally, players that complete the entire battle pass will receive a total of 130 Radianite Points, which they can use to upgrade a variety of Valorant skins.

To note, there is a free battle pass that rewards Valorant players with things like titles, sprays, and a weapon skin. As such, fans can still look forward to receiving some cosmetics even if they do not decide to purchase the upgrade. Furthermore, players that do not initially buy the premium battle pass in Valorant will still receive XP towards it, which means that they can unlock the pass and receive the rewards attached to the tiers that they have completed at a later date.

Valorant is out now for PC.
